SharePoint 2013 Search for Power Users

This one-day instructor-led course is intended for information workers or power users who use SharePoint to store and find enterprise content. Students should take this course if they need to know core search features along with the advanced search features, tips and tricks. This class is an excellent prerequisite for IT Professionals who work as SharePoint Server Administrators attending 20331: Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013. This class can be delivered using SharePoint content on an in-house server, virtual machines or Office 365. The courseware is sufficiently detailed with reference content and samples to serve as both an after class search reference and as search “cheat sheet”.

Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Search Administration

This three-day instructor-led is intended for Search Administrators, Site Collection Administrators and Site Owners who want to improve the end user search experience. The class is an ideal follow up for the SharePoint Server Administrator who is looking for more on the daily administration of SharePoint 2013 Search. This class covers the Standard and Enterprise Editions of SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 / SharePoint Online. SharePoint Search is one of the more ignored areas of SharePoint administration. As Search is often the only way users can find content in a large organization, and as SharePoint 2013 Search is both very powerful and very configurable, Search should be considered one of the more important services in need of formal administration and frequent tuning. While this class will cover the ongoing maintenance of search administration, its focus is on improving the efficiency of your end users in finding “stuff”!
